Plot:

In The Ape Man, Professors Dexter and Gilmore are at the forefront of a radical experiment in reanimation. Having recently revived a tramp who had been frozen for four months, the researchers are eager to test their process on a more ambitious subject. Their target? A prehistoric man discovered encased in a block of ice in the Arctic.

Back at their laboratory, the reanimated prehistoric man proves to be far from cooperative. Struggling with violent tendencies and an inability to communicate, he soon escapes from his holding cell and murders a policeman. Faced with this crisis, Dexter devises a plan to make the creature more manageable and articulate by replacing part of his brain.

Dexter’s initial choice for a brain donor is the fiancé of Gilmore's niece, Anne. This decision angers Gilmore to the point of pulling a gun on Dexter, threatening to halt the experiment. Infuriated, Dexter decides to use Gilmore’s brain instead, setting off a chain of events that leads to even more chaos.

With the modified ape man now possessing Gilmore's brain, he escapes and heads straight to Gilmore’s home. As the plot unfolds, we witness a series of increasingly bizarre and humorous developments, culminating in a climax that’s as wild as it is unpredictable.
