Plot:

The Park Plaza 2000 Shopping Center is unveiling a cutting-edge nighttime security system from Secure-tronics, designed to keep the mall safe from intruders. The centerpiece of this new system is a trio of 101 series Protector robots, programmed to neutralize any unauthorized personnel until the police can arrive. Equipped with high-tech capabilities and an impenetrable security protocol, these robots are supposed to offer peace of mind.

However, on the very first night of the new system’s operation, things go awry. Eight young mall employees, eager for a secret after-hours party in the home furnishings store, don’t realize they’re about to become the ultimate test subjects for the malfunctioning robots. The party includes Ferdy Meisel, a somewhat anxious employee concerned about the state of the store, and Alison Parks, the new girl at the mall who only knows a few of her coworkers. Their festive plans quickly turn into a nightmare when the robots begin to malfunction and adopt a new, deadly objective: to kill anyone in their path.

Trapped inside the mall after midnight, the group must navigate the perilous environment filled with merchandise that could either help or hinder their survival. With the mall’s security robots turning against them and the clock ticking until morning, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Will Ferdy and Alison, along with their friends, manage to survive the night and escape the mechanical menace?
